I've been asked to do T&I pictures for a men's (boy's) gymnastics team. I have done this for the girls team and I am fairly comfortable with the setup and the process.
What is bugging me is that all the poses I come up with seem to be too feminine. Would anyone mind sharing suggestions or posting a sample of something cool for a men's gymnastics individual shot??
Thanks for your help.

Team and Individual is correct. I thought that was a common acronym
So, any ideas?

It is common.
How about just having them cross their arms in front of them with a pummel horse or parallel bars in the background?

Can you get a piece of equipment ie. a pummel horse or parallel bars for the shoot? If you can, then you have it made in the shade for the individual pics. have the subject do a hold move on either piece and snap the picture. If not, then try having the subject sit on the floor, legs out straight, then have them push up using their hands at their sides, shows arm strength and is easy to hold for 2-3 seconds for the snap. Men are difficult to pose as individuals as most of what they do is dependent on arm strength and upper back, so work for a pose that incorporates using those muscle groups and you'll be fine.

Thanks, everyone.
I like the idea of the crossed arms and pushing up on the floor. Unfortunately, I won't have access to any equipment - it will be a boy and a backdrop.
