Flashing back to my college days, we used to call this a "Trash Can" party...

There was only one rule: All light or all dark booze with a little Kool Aide just for taste...

We actually managed to get a pretty smooth blend most times. At least is WAS smooth until the 2x4 to the back of the skull found you...

Well, since you were so kind as to have a 30K party, I thought I'd post my 30K post here. (doesn't every party have a tiny speech?)

You know, I've enjoyed POTN immensely over the last couple of years. I admit that I lurked for many months before I joined, just because I felt the talent here was way beyond my grasp. But I've learned so much from the helpful members here. My photography has grown leaps and bounds and in the last several months I've actually started my own photography business. I sincerely doubt that I would have, had I not joined this forum. So for the technical aspects, help and encouragement, thank you.

And just know, when you take the time to really help someone it really can affect their future.

And as to the friends I've made here, well their value is beyond measure. I've met many of them IRL and look forward to meeting many more as the years go by. I chose POTN out of the other photography forums because of it's friendly atmosphere (most of the time) and I'm happy to say that a couple of years down the road, I'm still glad I picked it!
