How to fit 2 or more prints on A4?

I'm sorry if this is a silly question. I have Photoshop (v6) and have become reasonably good at processing and printing. But I have a problem.

How can I make 2 identical prints on one sheet on A4? Or 4? Or one large plus 2 small? I cannot find any way to do this. Could someone please give me a run-through! FWIW I also have Photodeluxe (v2), Zoom browser 3.1 and Brrezebrowser 2.1 on my PC. If none of these will easily do this, what should I try (preferably free or shareware)?

It's not freeware nor shareware, but is not really that expensive for what it can do. The program is called ThumbsPlus by Cerious Software. You can do just about any combination of prints on a sheet with it, whether multiple copies of one image or multiple prints.

It also makes image catagorizing and viewing a breeze and does some basic image tuning as well. It also has a Canon RAW plug-in that reads the CRW format files, albeit a somewhat slow conversion.

Photoshop has a feature called Picture Package that will let you put the same image on a single sheet of paper in various sizes or the same size.

Go to File -> Automate -> Picture Package

There is a choice of standard size packages to choose from. You can also use your image that is open or pull them out of a folder.

If you need to create a page that is different from what is available in the Picture Package, it should be simple to create one yourself.

First off, open the image and have it the size you want to print. If you want different sizes, create those as well.

Then click on New and create a page at the size you want (A4) at the resolution you want and orientation you want.

Then copy the images you want to print onto that page and place them where you want (using the move tool). After you have done that, go to Layers -> Flatten Images (if you will be re-doing it or moving them around, save it un-flattened first under a different name). If you haven't converted to the color space you need for printing, do that and print. You will have the large page with whatever images you want on it. I do this when I am creating colloges of a bunch of images, but it will work just the same using the same image.
