nice car, interesting style. Doubt its drifted though, its too nice and has the extra weight of the sound system in it. Cool pics!

+1, I'm too much of a car guy for you to tease. lol I wish my friend's 240 looked like that, but then again it doesn't need to with 500 at the wheels on just 6 psi.

Ya lol. It's not a KA or SR thats for sure. I hope he says it is cause I have dyno charts to prove he's wrong.

BTW that S14 is hideous on the inside. Decent photos however.

EDIT:

That's on a SR that is on 32psi and C16 LOL

Nice shots. You can certainly tell from the dyno chart where the spraying starts. Does it run the 1/4 in the 10's?

The dyno sheet I posted up isnt the green 240. It's my friends car. Showing that you can't make 500hp on 6psi like pmurph said. My friend made 640ish @ 32psi. The jump in power isn't nitrous, it's ALOT of boost. lol

You dont think you can make 500HP on 6PSI? Obviously you dont know much about compressors then ie Turbos and superchargers. Yeah, that is a nice chart that you posted but the car doesn't make 300HP till 5000RPM and it breaks 600 at 7000. This almost looks like a MUSTANG graph if it wasn't for the torque.

Any idiot can throw a turbo on a car and get it up to 32PSi but is it safe? Probably not unless you really bulletproofed the bottom end. That is the typical graph of someone who did the cheap way of getting power. You want a powerband and there is NO power band in the graph. It takes forever to spin up and then just goes up. You want it to go up fast and level out and STAY AT THAT LEVEL.

I wish I had my dyno sheets here to show you what I mean. My car starts putting out good power around 1600RPM then levels out around 2200 and starts to drop around 6500. I put down 450 to the wheels on pump gas, 497 on 100 octane unleaded, and 517 on leaded 110 octane. Car weighs in at 2880 with me in the drivers seat and 1/4 tank of gas. the PLUS of it is, it looks BONE STOCK on the outside and interior execpt for the 3" SIDE exhaust coming out infront of the drivers rear tire, the wideband O2 display that is HARD to see under the center console, and you CAN'T even see what is IN the engine! My internals and turbo I dont talk about.... Only 2 people besides me KNOWS what was actually done. The only reason why they know is because it was their idea and their shop. I have yet to run it on the drag strip as I just dont get any enjoyment out of it anymore. Id rather road race (the legal kind) it more then anything... Going into a corner at 120-140 MPH and hitting the brakes around 20-30ft is a RUSH! I have taken it on the HWY once at 172MPH. Never again. Had to "TEST" it ;)

Oh yeah, BTW, Im running anywhere from 10-18 lbs of boost but mine isn't a HUGE turbo, I got off track alittle. There are some LARGE turbos out there that can put down OVER 1000HP with just 4PSI but the problem lies in spooling it up. Its not about the PSI as much as the AMOUNT of air you can move. CFM..... the more the better, but you also need the heads to flow it all...

....Ok you're saying everything I already know. The graph I showed is of a FULLY built Sr20DET, and I mean fully. So to answer your question it is reliable. Plus its a 4 cylinder it's not going to have much of a powerband anyways. You sound like a old muscle car guy (like my dad) "There is no replacement for displacement...blah blah blah" lol I fully understand where your coming from and I understand how things work. I should be more specific on saying that a 240sx with a KA24DE or SR20DET can't make 500+hp on 6psi. If someone shows me a dyno graph I'll stfu but I highly doubt someone will. ;) I've seen fully built dragster put down over 1k hp with 2 pounds of squeeze, like this one -->(http://www.v8tvshow.com/forum/index.php/topic,254.msg954.html) No point really in arguing, it's just going to turn in a internet yelling match about who's E-Penis is bigger . So I bid this topic adieu, good day sir and well played.

hahaha, NOT REALLY... I own an SRT-4... and there is replacement for displacement! My car is my DAILY DRIVER 450HP to the ground and STILL get 30MPG as long as I keep the foot out of it... Hmmm, so needless to say, I dont get 30MPG... You show me an old muscle car that can do that... Hmmm, you should of figured it out when I said my car is 2880lbs with me in it... You won't find that in an old muscle car! :) lol

OK, I will agree with you on that about the KA/SR but Im sure there is someone out there that will differ.

Hmmm, as for powerband, I guess it is how you want your car to respond/drive. I prefer a fast spool and consistant powerband OVER a rollercoaster due to the fact that when you go through a "S" corner or a bus stop, you dont want to WAIT for the power to kick in. In a straight line, Im sure that car would kick the crap out of me, throw in a corner or something like that and I will be saying GOODBYE! Each to their own I guess. I know I have really put the hurt down on some guys on the track.. Here comes this little 4-banger neon, what is HE gonna do... hahaha... Your time was what??? exactly!!!

What I really like to see is the NASCAR guys on a road circuit! Right? You want me to turn RIGHT? :D

Nice car. I might warm up #1 a touch.

I still can't imagine 500 hp at 6psi on a KA-t or SR and I have a drifting 240 w/ a KA. But I'm willing to be proved wrong....

Depth of field is off. You should of made the whole Volk logo visible. It even kind of looks like you blurred it in PP.

The other dude respectfully dropped the topic and you bring it right back up with your "i'm the greatest" attitude. Leave it be.
