Anyone have ideas to blend tan lines to not be as noticeable. I don't want to try and clone the whole thing just make the change more gradual. Oh and their the worst kind of lines. Hat tan line on a farmer.

Generally I:

1. use Quick Mask to select the tanned area (or the untanned area, whatever works); and
2. use Curves or Levels to match the colour.

If my masking was fairly good, I'll just end up with thin dodgy areas at the edge of my mask, which I can correct with the clone or healing tools.

Or maybe use the Healing tool?

Why healing, just pick a skin tone outside the tan lines make a new layer fill it with the skin tone you picked, put it in darken mode, mask it, paint, then play with the opacity.
