So as the title states, I imported my .dng files that I edited in lightroom, to a brand new catalog in Lightroom 2 Beta, and the edits arent there.

Any Idea?

Did you export your pictures out of lightroom. Your edits aren't applied to the file until you export them out of Lightroom.

Actually the edits are all contained in Lightroom's internal database unless you explicitly instruct the software to write the edit instructions/metadata to file(s). To do so, open Lightroom and go to the Library mode; select all the files (CTRL+A) then from the Metadata menu select "Save Metadata to File) or press CTRL+R.

To have this done automatically for every file go to File > Catalog Settings and select the Metadata tab and check the "Automatically write changes to XMP" option. This process tends to slow down some computers so its turned off by default.

Note that if you want to update both the metadata and the appearance of the preview JPEG embedded in the DNG file select "Update DNG Preview & Metadata."
