I'll be shooting at a wedding in a few weeks - reception is at a community hall with medium-colored wood panelled ceiling. They are planning to drape white tulle (sp?) over the ceiling while decorating.

Will this be enough white for me to bounce flash off the ceiling? (Tulle is that netting-type stuff, in case I'm using a different word for it than others would. )

You'll probably end up with some warm tones out of the wood. I shot a place a while back that had wood in the center of the room on the ceiling. Everytime I would get close to it I would start to get strange color tones.

You should be able to fix the white balance in post processing easily. If you are really worried, take some shots at location at a date prior to the wedding and see how easy can you fix the colour cast.
