Check out the new features, like highlight recovery and enhanced detail. The examples show are pretty impressive.

Have You tried 4.1 yet?

I am trying it right now and am trying to figure out how the new sharpening works. So far I have not been able to get the same sharpness as the "simple" sharpening tool in 4.0 gave me. And I can't get the same shaprness as I can with PS CS.

About the hightlights tool, at first when I saw that and tried it my jaw dropped when I saw the details coming out from an area that is almost blown out. But then I opened the same image in PS CS I saw more details in PS CS with the standard settings. In bibble I cannot get the same amount of details from that same area.

Later I will post a few samples.

I was going to try it tonight.

Let me know what you find - I might be able to save myself the trouble from the sounds of it.

I am working with this image (http://photo.klein-jensen.dk/photohtml.php?n=zoo041114_04.jpg) to test Bibble.

This is with Bibble 4.1, here I turned highlights all the way up to 100 but could still not get as many details from the wolfs nose as PS CS give with standard settings with regards to hightlights. Sharpening is a bit difficult to get right (to me at least). But I actually like the background bibble produce better than PS CS. I did not use any of the noise reduction options in Bibble.

And this is with PS CS

The crop is not the same but hopefully it is possible to compare anyway.

Yep, PS CS did a better job on the highlights, but I also like the Bibble BG.

When you say that you didn't use NR with Bibble was it disabled or simply at defaults? Just curious, really, as I no longer plan on trying Bibble.

There are 3 sliders for noise reduction called Noise, Luma & Color that can be set to values between 0 and 100. I did not use any of these options so it might be possible to get more noise reduction.
