Hi All
Just wondering in your oppinon for wedding photography what would say is your most creative lens... the lens that has been used to capture the images that produce most wow's from people (B&G's).
Samples would be great too.
Thanks

The 85 1.8, of course. But I don't use it much because there just isn't enough time. So, I would say, for the work I do, the 24-70 on the 5D. If you are seriously considering becoming a wedding photographer, there are a thousand things to know and buy and do before entering the wedding scene. I've been shooting weddings for over 5 years now and I can tell you that getting the equipment is the easy part. Getting customers, keeping them happy and doing it in a creative way is hard. Maybe the best advice is to train with a pro in your area, shoot for free or for little pay and see what happens. It's not as easy as you think.

24-70L on the 5D, you can look at the EXIF.

50mm 1.4 for DOF, and 16-35mm 2.8 for those 16mm shots. Most salable images usually come from my 70-200, but WOW! comments come from the other two lenses.

17-55, 2.8 IS on a crop body - All-round versatility. I would love to use a wider lens (say 17mm on full frame) but for weddings it distorts bodies too much.

The 85L, hands down. It's my all time favorite by a long shot.

85L wide open...or close to it. Then 16-35 on the wide end.

The 10-22 can produce some extremely creative shots!
