Maybe off topic, but any Dallas / Ft. Worth shooters on here

I keep wanting to organize a Digital Photography club, and have excursions out to different areas around the state to shoot, and maybe have contests for best shot, etc. I think it would be a lot of fun and we could all learn from each other.

I'm thinking that there probably won't be many hits for my area since there's so many photographers from around the world on here, but it's worth a shot!

Anyone in any type of photography 'club' or social group?

Well Curos by March / April it'll be our first annual Dallas Arboretum Shoot, so you'll be just in time!

I also have press photographer access to the Texas Motor Speedway, Ennis drag strip and other event venues around town. When the events pick back up next year, if anyone wants to come along and shoot some motorsports I can sponsor them and get them anywhere they want to go!

i started it originally for Houston guys (HoustonPhotogs.com) but also wanted to include dallas, san antonio & austin etc etc. The forum just went online a couple of days ago so it is still in its infancy... i am sure it will grow as word gets out..

this way, us texas guys have a place to share our photo hot spots that others may not know about...
