I am not a boxing fan, but for lack of anything else on, I did watch the fight. While Calzaghe connected a lot, his punches lack well, punch. None the less, he carried the fight, should have been unanimous decision. Hopkins is a no class bum.

I thought Joe won the fight, but only based on connect ratio. Other than that it was a very boring fight...but I think we all expected that.

One thing that came out of this fight was the fact that maybe Joe's chin isn't as good as we thought. B-hop stunned him in the first round, then I think in the end of the 7th, he stunned him again. B-hop landed the more meaningful punches, but boxing matches are judged not only for that, but for connect ratio, who is being more aggressive, etc. Hence the decision to Joe. But I'll tell you if Joe ends up fighting guys like Pavlik, good luck...b/c Pavlik packs a punch.

I think the low blow fiasco was hilarious. B-hop at his best...always playing the victim. He's a fighter you love to hate, but the bottom line is, he is a great fighter. Perhaps father time was ticking for him in the later rounds.

I think his comment about how he schooled Joe was just another B-hop moment. He refuses to give anyone credit for anything. That's why people dislike him. But that's part of his game plan. To get everyone riled up.

I don't think the fight proved anything for Joe or B-hop for that matter. I don't want to see a rematch. I think the best we can get would be Joe vs. Pavlik...and Pavlik will destroy Joe. Don't ever want to see RJJ fight...and I've already seen his arse kicked by Tarver and Johnson so that's enough RJJ to last me a lifetime!

Now if they would find a fighter who can shut Pretty-Boy up, that would be worth watching!!!
