Here's what I've got:

Canon 20d
70-200 f/2.8 IS
16-35
50
Peleng 8mm
580 ex II
cactus set
spare batts / mem cards
Other small non-essentials.

Looking for a bag that can hold all of this. I'd prefer to get it as tightly packed as possible... so I'm not really looking to go for like... a Lowepro trekker AW II. That's a little overkill, IMO. I REALLY like the flipside 300, but I'm afraid that I might have too much gear for it to all fit.

As always, budget is in mind.

If you don't want to recommend actual bags, if you could throw out, perhaps, a brand that you use / enjoy, that would help narrow down the search as well. Thanks :)

What sort of bag? Shoulder bag, backpack, sling bag? What bag do you use at the moment? What do you want out of the bag, i.e. where will you be taking it? Walking around all day?

I'd be relatively sure that my Crumpler Whickey and Cox backpack would hold all that comfortable and it's an excellent bag for what I want out of it... but then again, all that would probably also fit in my Lowepro Stealth Reporter D400AW. And that's an excellent bag, though totally different to the Crumpler ;)

And after answering that be sure to first go to cambags.com and look through the Show Me Your Camera Bag stickie up top!

Thanks for the link, _arvena... I'm looking at that now.

Jim G, sorry - I'm looking for a backpack. I've used shoulder bags, and my friend has the D400AW, but I don't like its accessibility.

I'm currently using a knock-off lowepro trekker type.

I'll be traveling with it as well as using it (not fully loaded) on walks / biking. I pretty much just want a FAIRLY lightweight bag (since I'm carrying a lot of weight as it is) that has high-build quality and fairly easy accessibility to at least one compartment (where my camera + 1 lens at least). I'm also not a huge fan of slingshots, as when I bike they tend to get in the way.

I'll check out the COX backpack for sure.

What you're looking for seems to fit the Kata R-102 (or R-103 if you want an extra laptop compartment). Check THIS PAGE (http://cambags.com/nikon/d70/backpacks/kata_r-103_frames.htm) for some pictures and description. (that's the 103 version).

Wow. That was pretty much on the money. Thanks Molnies.
