Hi, everyone. I'm new here so I thought I'd introduce myself.
My real name is Len. I live in Indiana just across the border from Chicago, IL.. I'm 49 yr.s old and have been a steelmill mechanic for almost 29 years (exciting so far, huh?). I've been marrried for 15 yr.s and have a 27 yr. old stepson that I just can't get rid of. I have 3 dogs, 2 full breed pugs and 1 half pug/half rat terrier, hence the name "Pugdaddy". I am a hobbiest magician.
I was never one to take a lot of photos untill I picked up my A75 about 2 months ago. This thing is blowing me away. I love it, so far. I believe I got real lucky choosing this camera. I did the usual research and learned about megapixels and zooms and went shopping. To tell you the truth I bought this particular camera because it looked "professional" to me. Now that I've read a half dozen reviews I'm tickled pink.
I signed up for a digital photography class that begins in Jan. It's held for 3 hours per class, one day a week for 7 weeks. I'm really looking forward to it.
