Can anyone provide feedback about the Canon Tele Converter TC-DC58 for the G2. Currently they are special order only from Jessops UK. Alternatively, information about a better/cheaper Tele Converter available in UK would be useful too. Sorry if this question has been asked before...
Best Wishes

I have used mine only a bit. It does seem to take good pics. You will probably want to use a tripod altho not absolutely necessary.
I like the fact that you can zoom out a little before it vignettes (maybe 25% of the way). If you really want to zoom in with long glass you will be disappointed. Also you should be using a d60 or something like that and not a G2.
Remember you will have to use the LCD for viewing, Flash will be blocked (use external flash). Of course this is true with all the Tele's on a G2.
I bought a TC-DC58 tele converter because it is made by Canon and all my other Canon lenses have been good. I can use the filters for my other lenses also. I usually have the adapter on the camera most of the time to act as a protecter for the lens tube and as a handle like with my SLR.
