Here are some of my first attempts at panning and catching the tire ripple upon take off. I used burst mode and was VERY happy. I had about 400 keepers out of the 600 or so I took!

Actually, what you can't see is the Mustang Fox Body that is about a quarter the way up the track ahead of this guy! ;)
Although, this guy didn't seem to know how to drive. His second run was better, but what can you expect with street tires...

We had a couple of locals there. The Jaws Racing team (2 Mustangs) and my friends brother in-law was there with a 10 sec Ranger. Great pans though. That Embry Riddle jet dragster is pretty sick.

Yeah- when she dropped the throttle on that Jet car it felt like we got hit in the chest (The first time we were in the VIP bleachers, about 20 yards away!)

Saw lots of mustangs, my favorites, there. Which ones did they have? What year, color, etc... as I probably have some pics... I tried to get most of the mustangs...

Dangit... no pics of those. I absolutely remember the Ranger and the blue mustang, but there were several like the first mustang and I can't place that one... oh well. I was hoping I could get them some shots of their cars...

Funny though, I have pics of about 25 different mustangs and a bunch of the trucks too as that is another favorite of mine... did you see the econoline Ford van that ran about a 10 second run?
