I am having problems with printing "units".
I often edit my photos in photoshop, which uses inches as measurment.

However, I often print photos in a local photo supply shop which uses a fujufilm Frontier 370 (produces very high quality photos btw) and the shop often deal with units known as 3R, 4R, 5R, 6RW, 8R and 10R.

I have a panormaic image that I want to print (12 X 5 inches) and I need to know what the units that I've mentioned stands for in inches so I can resize the photos to their nessesary sizes.

Thanks :D

I don't know about those sizes, but if it helps, you can change the units of measurement in Photoshop from inches to centimeters by going to the preferences screen (Edit/Preferences/Units).

Try this link. You can find out more information about international printing sizes there... Probably more than you ever want to know. The "R" designation does not seem right... they have A,B,C.. etc. Try it and see if it answers your question. Regards.. R.
