I really don't know where to put this but since this section has SOOOO many people that love editing I was hoping to get a little help..

I took this photo for my husbands work and they are thinking of using it for their Christmas cards this winter. If they choose mine which it is looking good so far they will make 4000 print for their customers.

Would anyone here be willing to play around with this photo to spice it up some but still have it look realistic.. A friend of mine helped me with the edit so far but I would like to also see what else could make it so it is not so "blah" If you do play with this can you share with me what you did? Thanks a bunch all. And Mod's if this has to be moved to another section please do so..

Heather, you know I am a huge fan of yours.but this shot just doesn't have the Ahha thing for me:(

Perhaps a different angle....

and its small to edit properly.....

THis could go to Critique section?

I took over 100 shots of this but every other angle had trees covering the sign.. I agree witht he ahha thing but I have seen sooo many people a plain dull photo and turn it into something stunning. I don't know if it could be done with this photo or not..

Anyone willing to work their magic.. I will see if I can get a bigger photo..

Thanks Gail. I know exactly where you are coming from and also thanks for the compliment..

Prob not quite what you had in mind, but I already edited so here it is :)

Cropped, then cloned away some of the snow dirt
Slight curve adjustment for brightness and contrast
Marqueed building to saturate background
Lightened area around company name to make it stand out more, also a couple other areas on the beige parts of the building
Slight glow
Dodged a few snow flakes individually
Vignette and border

Saturation +12
Photo filter: Warming 25%
Crop
Slight lens distortion
