here is a test shot of my dog sam ..iam testing my 10D with 24-70mm f2.8 lens / 420ex flash on tripod. i will say iam a noobie, so please feel free too comment / critique. any suggestion's are welcome.

For me, the out of focus leg is a distraction. I'd lose the leg and move Sam's face more to the right. Having one's nose cut off must hurt, and it certainly hurts the photo.

not much thought went into taking the pic. i was mostly testing the equipment. but yes your right i should have moved him too the right . but my test was for focus / sharpness

friendly bump
