here's an older show from late December...seattle-based rockers Kinski trekked out for a great show, in support of Oneida. i'd not seen them since '02 and they did not disappoint. plenty of inventive rock-centric music w/ a noise bent, and also straight ahead Sonic Youth flavor.

why do you put the fish on the 30d?

because i don't own a 14L and want a wide shot?

this was pre-5D/24-70 ownership (though i suppose the 17-55 could have done about the same thing).

Hey, Narlus, I'll loan you my my 14L but the fisheye is still a better choice as the 14mm is way too bland! I really only have it for my 1DsMIII for landscape/architectural work ... used it once at a concert and now it sits in the case UNDER the 15mm fisheye.

i didn't realize it was an older shoot, and was wondering why you didn't put it on your 5d. i'm pulling the trigger today and getting the 5d. i was trying to hold out but i can't wait any longer. i've decided i'm not spending any more money on photography that i don't make through photography. i've got the money now and need a backup, so the 20d is the back up and the 5d is the go-to. then hopefully later this year the 5dmkii will be the primary and the 5d will be the backup

anyway, nice images. the subtleness of the fish on a crop seems to work well here.
