RAW in B&W???

I remember seeing a thread a while back and someone mentioned that you could set your JPG (L) setting for B&W but the RAW file would still be in color?

I tried this during a shoot with my new granddaughter and all the pics, CR2 files included, are B & W.

What did I do? I reshot, but am wondering how I need to set the camera for future reference.

No need to reshoot. Just open the RAW file in DPP and change the picture style. If you shoot RAW + JPEG, those JPEGs will be in B&W but the CR2s are only tagged to be B&W by default in DPP.
