I think I'd like to see the drop clinging to the end point for more effect and reflection in the drop. Nice idea.

HAHA i thought about that but the dye wasnt thick enough. The red was lost in the drop (not saturated enough)

Thats what the point of the shoot was. this is the best shot I got. You have no idea how hard it is to keep the drop on the edge of the knife... PS I was holding the knife, pouring the water, and shooting it haha!

I specifically like the blade going from all white to black at the tip, witht he grinding pattern visible throught he middle. Very nice!

if you are going to continue with black and white, chocolate syrup is perfect, and I believe it is what Hitchcock used...for blood that is.
