I need a bag that will probably mainly be used as a roller but MUST have a backpack option, if it doesnt then please don't suggest it.

I need to hold:
2x Gripped ##D Bodies
14L or 35L
17-55 f2.8IS or 24-70L
100 Macro
70-200 f2.8 IS L
300 f2.8 IS L
2x 580EX IIs
2x CPE4 Battery Packs
3x Pocket Wizards
Cables etc

I have looked at Thinktank stuff and like the look of it but which one do i need?

EDIT: Just looked at some think tank stuff that doesnt have backpack straps so it may be an unrealistic request so i will just leave that as a high priority but not a must have. Also it must fit in an airport overhead compartment.

EDIT 2: Also all will need hoods reversed.

I have the Think Tank Airport Security and love it! It does have 'hidden' backpack straps to use temporarily but would probably get uncomfortable after awhile.

Here's what I carry, guess off that and see if your gear will fit (I think it will):
2 1Ds bodies with RRS L brackets, 50L, 24L, 24&45TSE, 28-300L, 24-70L, 16-35L, Gitzo travel tripod w/Markins M10 head, charger for Ds MIII, misc cables, large wallet for filters, Epson 5000 photo viewer and charger.

I love Think Tank stuff; really well made, adjustable, rolls well, I could on and on...

I will try to put together a mini review but I got a KATA 205 and the little trolley for it.

They actually charge 200 for the pack when you add it to your cart. The other thing was the waist straps are removable, I was pleasantly surprised by that.

Think Tank stuff seems to be well planned out and highly regarded. Being more square it will probably hold more but not be as comfortable in pack form. It is likely a better airport transit solution with the Kata being a better hiking solution.

Loaded my Kata weighed about 16 kg and that is too much for me to carry on my back for long but would be ok while traveling especially with the trolley.

I second the portable trolley thing. When I load up my LowePro CompuRover for transport it comes in 25lbs and its not fun carrying it around.

So I have one of these.

I got it from Magellan.
