I have an opportunity to pick up this kit (used twice) for $800CDN but know nothing about them and the only thread I found was from 2004.

I have the 400 and 800 Genesis monolights. They work great for me. I also know a few others that have been using this brand for a few years and love them.

I only know these because The Studio Coach hawks them.

May or may not be a concern for you but it looks like the flash power variation only goes down to 1/12 on these? I can't see it clearly from the site but it looks like maybe they have thier own unique design for attaching accessories and a speedring (or is it the S-type Bowens)? Could be stuck using thier accessories only. Maybe BigD74 could help on that one. Look like decent lights overall stat wise.

The fushion lines looks interesting. Power adjustable to 5ws!

I don't have the exact same version. I have the 300ws Camray C-300.
I've used it a fair bit over the last 3 years without any issues.
