Think i found a Wasp Queen

Much larger than a normal wasp. Just managed this one shot as everytime i approached i cast a shadow on it and off it went after this shot, unfortunatley i couldnt get a different angle.

Lovely capture Alistair- looks like a queen- think they are the only wasps about at the moment- not had time to raise any workers yet. Apparently you can tell if there are cleanly delineated back spots on the abdomen - think I can just see one right at the end of the wasp :)
