The sea and foreground detail are really nice. The blown sky and dark trees on the left detract a bit from the overall effect, but it's a nice shot.

Skys not blown on my calibrated monitor... Shadowsa are a little blocked though. Overall very nice shot and comp. Maybe a tad flat?

Thank you all. I am pretty new to cs3. What do I need to do to get it where it doesn't look flat, curves?

For it to be a really good B&W photograph you need more shadow detail. Be careful if you increase contrast cause you run the risk of loosing even more shadow and you could really blow out your highlights. I'm not sure it needs more contrast but it does need more shadow detail.

Selective contrast on the ocean and pull up the details in the shadows.
