Please critique. Also at what point do you want to use shutter lock up to prevent blur? Any good macro tutorials?

Lovely series of shots - looks like the new camera is working fine :)
AFAIK MLU is only useful with shutter speeds between about 2 secs and 1/20th sec which are not normally used for macro unless you are using a tripod. I've never used it !

very nicely exposed, my only criticism and others will disagree, is that they are framed too tightly at the bottom

I agree. If I were going to print it I would definitly crop it a bit. It was windy that day and trying to keep the image in the frame was a challange!
