The purpose of the creativity challenge is to inspire and create new concepts through photo editing and design.

Basically anything goes!
The original mood or concept of the initial (unedited) photograph does not matter. Try/learn new design techniques and see what you can come up with... Let the creative juices flow!

Same rules as Before & After:
- Follow file size regulations (800p width)
-"Image editing ok" turned on
-one FULL week editing time
-Breakdown of steps taken (if complicated, please elaborate)
-Reserve comments until after the winner is announced
-Winner posts next photo thread (Creativity challenge #2)

Add a few:
-Jot down the editing software used
-Non photographic material accepted

Open until Thursday, May 1st ;)

Although it's very similar to Before and After it simply allows more editing freedom and of course will make it much harder to choose a winner!

Can you make it any harder??!!!
Lol, I (mind you...) will get crack'en

Oh, maybe you should just change the 48hrs rule to 1 week....

Done. ;)

And I coulda made it harder. :P This is fun... I'm going to edit it just for fun. Obviously I won't win. LOL I think that'd be a bit unfair.
I can't wait to see everyones edits. This totem pole has been at our zoo for years and years. It was donated by a local reserve.

The reason I'm elaborating on the B&A game is that I'm an art student and I sometimes use rendered photographs in some of my projects. This is where my need for new PP techniques and concepts come in :).
Well, I'll call this my first attempt ...

Photoshop7
(Desaturated all layers)
Selected totem pole
Rotated and layered onto picture of knight
Added glow
Texturiser (minimal as picture already had texture)
Motion blur in selected areas
Contrast "
Added birds using marquee
Speech bubble
Burnt selected border

The Pole looks like it has a bird stuck onto it, so this is what entered my mind...
