i like the composition and lighting of the shot. a very interesting species!

Needs more lighting of the thorax/facial areas and the white blobs of bright light in the background are a bit distracting. Did well with exposure of the abdomen, nice detail. Perhaps could have gotten a touch closer. Good start.

Those white patches in background are distracting. try to change your angles in such conditions. A slight change in angle gives big differences, and you can achieve smooth green or black background in deep woods

Both good shots as commented above- you need to watch for highlight reflections and perhaps change the shooting angle to get rid of them if you can.

second shot has more interesting detail. Get yourself a close up lens like the Raynox DCR-250 and the 58mm lens adaptor for the S5 : Canon LAH DC20 (LAHDC20). This will allow you even greater magnification.
