Does anyone know where in the UK I can get some replacement rubber plugs for the D30's remote control socket?

After being so careful not to lose it for so long, if finally went missing yesterday :(

Any ideas?

Try your local Canon Pro Centre. Canon sells replacement plugs for all of the cameras that they manufacture.

If your camera store doesn't have them I'm sure they would be happy to order them for you. (hint-order two)

e-mail ~ h.lehmann@dial.pipex.com

Price for two sets (good idea to buy two) £5.88

Many thanks! Just ordered a few from H Lehmann Ltd.

Searched everywhere locally (North East UK) without success.

The lady I spoke to on the phone to H Lehmann Ltd was extremely friendly and knowledgable and I would recommend them to anyone.

Thanks again.

I seem to recall that the D60 has a plug that is siamesed for the RC and PC connections. Installing one of those might keep the hole plugged longer.

True to Murphy law, now that I have spares, the stupid plug has not fallen out for some time. (-:

The D60 cover is part of the case, and I doubt can be fitted on a D30
