I have an 19900 and get good results. However, I have a calibrated monitor, so I know I'm looking at the correct colors. I'm about to profile the printer as well, because most of the colors are spot-on to my monitor, but the yellows/greens are a bit off.

If you can find a test file that you know has correct colors (no matter how they look on your monitor) that still prints poorly on your printer, then you may have a problem that needs technical adjustment.

the color is so bad.. looks like the old days of bad paper in your darkroom, or old chemicals. Very yellow . Ran setup and colors were fine on test page..STUMPED
pics look fine on the monitor

What happens when you print a test page? Do you get all the colors? It could be as simple as a clogged print head or cartridge.

You could have started something here.
Done purposely I bet the results could be wonderfully weird
