Has anyone bought these digital photo frames. Do they work with photos straight out of the camera. I take pictures in raw. are those formats generally supported.

RAW won't be supported, only JPEG, in any I've seen. Among other things, RAW formats vary greatly from camera model to camera model, so supporting all of them would be an almost insurmountable task, and the processors in these picture frames just aren't very powerful.

Frames also differ in their ability/inability to take hi res files out of the camera and display them. Typical digital frame is only 800x600 or so in resolution, it is relatively rare to find one with higher resolution! So the files on the memory card might need to be downsized with PP prior to be loaded only the digital frame, rather than left at the native resolution of the digital camera.

There are also frames that directly accept memory (CF, SD, MS, etc) while some others require subcription to a web service to download photos to the frame from the web.
