I am in Wilmington, they flew here this past weekend then headed to Charleston. Thanks for the replies.

Very nice pair of TBird images. Good exposure and they look nice and sharp. I see a little difference in the sky color of each however.

Sky in #1 is more purple than in #2...

Nice! I agree on the skies, I'm seeing purple in the first pick as well.

The second one has an interesting feel to it, almost as if there is no motion and the aircraft is hung up in the sky on a string (for the lack of better wording). I'm not getting that sense of power, but it's a cool shot of the underside.

Hopefully I can get over to Battle Creek this July and try capturing them myself.

What is the best procedure for getting the colors in the same tones? I use ps elemests 6.

Saturday – I was standing in the middle of a grass field off of the end of the runway. That is how I got the shots from under the airplanes.;)

Sunday – I was at the air show.

The 70-200 f/4 IS is just what I needed:lol:
