I have a new gallery up of pictures I took at the zoo today. Please enjoy and feel free to leave a comment.

P.S. Roger, some of these pics found inspiration from your 135 f/2 at the zoo gallery.

Hi Blair,

Nice pics! Quiet time in the office, so I took the liberty to play a few minutes with the piture of the tucan:

Main reason that the fence in the background was irritating to me. My sharpening might be a little too much though.
Another advice: get a tripod or monopod. Bought these myself 2 weeks back and the difference in quality is amazing. Now everything I take is at least with a monopod.

Good luck!

With members like HENK -- who needs to by PS!

Absolutely stunning shots.

I choose the bird first and the tiger second -- although the tiger is probably the best zoo shot that I have seen (*of a tiger) -- and I saw the IMAX film "India, Land of the Tiger a few months ago.

The color. The wild non-zoo composition. The Henk fix. Work small miracles.

I do admit (as I am sure you do yourself) that a fix on the concrete back wall. Hey Henk.. give us PS lesson !

Thanks guys.
