Popped down to Croft for a couple of hours today. The F3's were practising and the Caterhams were racing.
Usual croud of POTN member there including one that looks just a little tired after a long flight home.
First ujp the F3s who were, at times, on the ragged edge

Then the Caterhams after lunch
Plenty of them all flat out to the first corner

Brilliant! Lots of nice negative camber on the front wheels of those 7s!

#4 and #5 out of this set for me Peter.
You didn't miss much today. The F3's were a complete yawn fest and the schedule went up the swanny after a crash in Race 2.
Roll on the DDMC meet in May.

Well put it this way. I've got enough shots to prove the lens is fine and enough to prove the bloke behind it needs to sort his act out a bit ;)
I'm blaming too many rallies with no 'orrible fences and even fewer 'orrible spectators :D

Ahem to that Geoff. I actually thought that both the F3's and G50's were pants today. The F3's were mighty quick, but just followed each other round, the G50's were pretty to look at, particularly in the heavy rain at the end, but really boring which was a pity. The best races of the day for me were the Formula Fords, Ginetta G20's and Caterhams. Decent grids and some really good racing.
Anyway, Peter you've captured some really nice stuff here. Good to have a chat with you, even if I was a bit wooly around the edges.
Cheers,
Simon.

I think the shot with thousands of those fecking sevens in is the best one for me, the light was pretty weird most of the weekend.
Cheers

I think it all too easy just to concentrate on the single car shots so enjoyed being at that spot to get something a little more interesting
