I broke down and got a 3G today and had some time to fiddle as I wait for the Cowboys to pick [#22 & #28]. So here are some quick shots...

Here is the difference between the f/2 and f/5.6 sweet spot.

...these are both 3 exposure (-1.5,0,1.5) HDRs also...

Your one of the people that actually watch the draft? Why? I just check the internet every so often to see who my team took. This year my Browns don't have a pick until tomorrow.

I love the ESPN commentary. They crack me up with the witty remarks. ;)

It was not a very exciting draft, but my team got exactly what it wanted/needed, so all is good.

Oh yeah, I like the BBQ food shot.

Apparently there is a "limit" to the select focus usefullness, as this next image indicates. On the 5D it cuts the lower left corner when pushed upper-right to the extreme.

Probably the two lines of stitching in the leather furniture the lens cap was resting on? ;)

Yeah, I guess it's your misfortune.

How about this, since you're a nice guy, I'll do you a good deal, I'll swap you my 40D for your 5D. So you won't get any of that terrible cropping issue.

That's just a swell offer. I'd feel really bad to rip you off with that deal though...it's all in my favor and I would have a guilty conscience! ;)
