I am going to be taking a trip to UK and looking to get a smaller bag for the trip vs. backpack type I know have.

I will be taking the following equipment: 40D, 20D, 24-105L and 17-40L, and 580EX (some are telling me not to take the flash, to just use pop up if needed???)

I have read some reviews where writers are saying the like this sytle and other where they say after a couple of hours the sling design (only one shoulder strap), get uncomfortable and too heavy for the back.

Current backpack weighs about 20lbs loaded. not sure what this would weigh with this stuff inside.

Any feedback on these bags??

I took my 300 to Italy last year and thought that it was great. I thought that it was comfortable with the gear that I was carrying.

I had:
20D with grip
70-200IS 2.8
24-70L
16-35L
580EX

I don't think that both of the bodies will fit in there unless one of them stays in the top compartment. The longest trek I had with the bag in Italy was about 10 hours and the shortest was 5 hours. I would take this bag along with me again to do the same trip.

Hope this helps.

Of the two choices listed I would take the 300.
The waist strap will disperse some of the weight off of your shoulder.
I returned home a month ago from the London myself.
