Concept: I wanted to use the clouds to bring the effect of a duststorm.

Concept: The picture depicts the contrast between the ancient ways of merchandising with the modern business hubs at the background.

Concept: Joy of friendship and the summer heat.

All pictures are shot by G2 under the manual mode, bright daylight, and remote controlled release.

I would be glad to hear from the critics 8)

Lovely photos.

The contrast between bodies and buildings is great -- especially as all elements are metalic. Your choice of shooting angle makes it all the more dramatic.

Check out Don Ellis' link to the Kodak composition page here. If there is a problem here, it may be with the framing (that includes picture border) and cutting off sculpted parts.

Best shot (mood-wise) was with the kids in the water. Wonderful art.

Hey Shafique,

Lovely stuff. It's unfortunate that you severed some off the body parts though. That first one in particular would have been greatly served by the inclusion of the statue's feet.

By the way, I lived in Singapore for five years before moving back to the U.S. I miss its clean streets, polite vendors, and how safe it was at all hours of the day.

Thanks for your comments on my pics, yea Singapore is a lovely place to be in. Its very safe and clean.
