Just got back from Mallory Park - which despite the forecasts was sunny 'til about 4:15!
Not been through all my shots yet, but these two sprang to mind!

Hi there,
Have you got any pics of the number 54 car in the Intermarque challenge.
Its the David Ellis Aston Martin GT700R.
Would love to see some shots of this one.
Also the Green N24 in your shot above, do you have any more pics ??
Regards
Tim

I'm sure he does, but he needs to embed them on a website, like Imageshack, so he can upload 8 and not a measly 2 ;)

I was using my 400mm prime at the first corner - so yes I do have more, but most have chopped one end or other - or are slightly OOF.
I'll have a look for car 54 - but it will have to wait until I've got home from work tonight!
And I'll post some on my website - which I can always link to!

Ok, bit later than planned - I've put some images on my website - a few of the Green Aston going off - as I say many are chopped one end or other - and they will come off once I've sorted though the rest of the shots.
I've also posted some of Car 54 - and a few others.
One of car 54 is below.

I've finally gone through all my shots and deleted the rubish and duplicates.
Quite like these:

There are a lot more on my website.
Thanks for looking.

Wrong car #54
Doesn't look very Aston Martin-ish to me!

The first two are nice but the later shots all seem to suffer from over-sharpening. Too many jagged edges around the panel edges and around windscreens.
Oh, and I can confirm that car #54 as posted is an Austin Healey, they've kindly printed it above the number for the non-petrol heads amongst us ;)

I agree on the sharpening - I use Jalbum to create the web page - and it does sharpen when it reduces the image sizes - I thought I'd turned it down when I did these - but obviously not enough!
And this is the only shot I have of the yellow car #54

I think I preferred green #54 - Austin Healey Sprite aka 'frogeye' or 'bug-eye' depending which side of the Atlantic you live on.
Yellow #54 is just ugly (IMO!)

first two are top catches!
all the others apart from 3 look on as if they have had sharpening applied?

Jon, Yes they have - they are fine as full res - but have been resized by Jalbum and as I said before it does sharpen - I have now turned sharpening off and uploaded the files again - so hopefully will be a bit better.
