I have just ordered a 20D with the 580 flash and the 17-85 lens. . . . and I am trying to confirm that there is a focus adjuster for those of us that are farsighted. Can anyone help?
Also, Why can't I make the link to the comparison between the 20D and the 1D Mark 11 work?

Even my 300D has it, so i'd bet the 20D has it. I wear extended wear contact lenses, which work well for me.

You mean like this (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_post.asp?method=sidebyside&cameras=canon_e os20d%2Ccanon_eos1dmkii&show=all)?

Even better, depending on your vision problem, you can purchase additional diopter adjusters for the view finder, if the one built into the camera isn't quite strong enough.
One problem I have, which I'm not sure would ever be fixable, is that I need reading glasses and so I can adjust the diopter so I can see clearly through the view-finder but I need to put my glasses back on to read the settings information which doesn't show in the viewfinder.
I wonder if they could ever build a switchable view-finder display, so that by holding a button a person could see the menus and all the other settings (white balance, drive mode, iso setting, flash ev setting) as well as the LCD display of pictures through the viewfinder. Just a simple push button switch would somehow display all that stuff.
Not an important item, as I am learning to look at positions on the lcd readout next to the shutter release, so I don't always need my glasses to adjust the settings.
