Those are great. I particularly like the dragon fly, such strange creatures :0)

Were you using your extension tube to take these?

Yes, they are all wonderful captures. All natural lit except the dragon fly I'm guessing. The fly closeup is wonderful. Keep posting, good stuff here.

Great shots.

#2 is a damselfly, not a dragonfly :)

Thanks amandajane, its a damselfly as the others have said, I got a set of 68mm kenko tubes but mainly i have the 36mm tube on, and add/take off when needed, i think off hand i hand the 36mm tube for the first 3 and 68mm tubes for the last one.

Sorry, not gotten my terminology and bug names down yet. Still wonderful shots. What did you use to diffuse the flash if they weren't natural light shots. The lighting is very good.

Don't worry about it, i use a home made diffuser, have not got a pic of it, but shaped like a cone with a hand towel taped to the end of it, a bit like Brian's (lordv)http://www.flickr.com/groups/macroviewers/discuss/72157594312315664/ (http://www.flickr.com/groups/macroviewers/discuss/72157594312315664/)
