These were a lot more enjoyable than the "Main Event". Races with overtaking, now there's a novelty !!

1. Caterhams at the hairpin.

2. A rather moist Formula Ford shot.

3. Caterham's again. The RallyCross track is a bit further down chaps...

5. How thoughtful of the Croft management to install a Drive-through car wash !

Nice selection Geoff, that 500 seem just the right length to shoot from the infield to the hairpin, glad you happy with your purchase.

Cheers
Ian

#2 is a cracker Geoff, like that one an awful lot. I'm off to cut my credit cards up now before I make an impulse buy

Don't blame me if you do..blame Glenn ;)

I only took the 500 off the camera once all weekend and that was to get some shots of cars bouncing over the kerbs exiting the hairpin...the 500 was just too tight there :D

Excellent action shots, Geoff!

Thanks :)

It's typical that the so-called "support" races are better than the Headline events :D

It saves me having to trawl the results and do the old "this is Driver X in Car whatever" ;)

About half way through Sunday afternoon a huge grey cloud appeared like a scene from Independence Day so i put the waterproofs back on.

It stayed dry

I'm over the moon with it Ian. I just need to get used to the old foot zoom now :)

The colours are lovely from that lens. I've actually had to reduce the amount of sharpening too as my usual settings were too high.

Thanks for the comments everyone :)

All spot on shots Geoff, like the low angle of #1 and #3 going x-country

It seems i've only posted 6 images out of the usual 8...so i'll inflict a couple more on you all :D

Qualifying for the Ginetta G50's was actually better than the racing..

Another G50 bouncing over the kerbs leaving the Chicane. (120-300 & 1.4x TC)
