The bands included were all Local, but still nice to be able to walk around without worrying about getting busted trying to sneak in places, being on stage during the performances, its all fun I loved it...I offered my presence for free and ask that they not expect perfection, it was mainly a practice round for me to see what I can come up with, they are satisfied with the results and said this is what they were looking for, so thats all that matters to me.

Dont be. Look at the AP Tour I just posted. Every shot is 1600-3200. Personally I think that noise makes concert pics look cool...haha.

1600 iso isn't even all that bad. well on a 400d you should be worried. 1600 on my 30d is fine, not too much noise. the only time i get a lot of noise is when i up my ISO to 3200.

I think the 400d handles high iso better than you'd think. Like its been said a million times, as long as you expose correctly (or to the right if possible) you shouldn't have too big of a problem.
Just tell yourself noise looks cool...thats what I do and i'm fine!

I think these are great for your first time out...well done. As a photographer and a musician though, I do have one quick comment...
Your third shot down of the drummer...while I like the "movement" of the drummer, there looks like there's some serious camera shake there too. It's cool that you caught that motion on the drummer but the cases and the background are also blurred...I think this shot would have worked much better if the elements other than the drummer had of been sharp. The "ghosting" on the lettering for the Vic Firth logo is really distracting.
other than that, again good job for your first time out!
Peace,
Jim

Yeah that was a blind shot, I was in the pit and trying to get out quick, everyone moved when they saw my camera so I was able to get up front real quick. but the Moshing behind me was not a comfortable

Yeah that's true. Noise does look kinda cool though.....in some cases. But nonetheless I can't complain about your great shots.
