Downtown Denver about a week ago. The weather has been nice lately. I can finally go out and apply what I've read on POTN all winter.

Very cool. I'm going to be there in about 2 weeks. Want to meet up downtown? The whole group of 500+ people are going to be running around town 8-10, so I hope to see a lot of the city. I lived there for 3 months once upon a time and my husband is from Golden.

Thank You, Pio! :D This is actually just one photo, then cropped. I took this with the 5D and the 70-200 2.8.

Hello Anthony! Thank you! :D Funny you should ask as this was the first time using my new Manfrotto 055XPROB Tripod and new Cullmann Ballhead. The winds were blowing between 15-25mph that evening.
I am very happy with both. The tripod is very sturdy and well built. However, the Cullmann Ballhead is just unbelievable! It is rock solid. For $139.00, it's the steal of the century.

Thanks Suzie! :D Ouch! I have a shoot scheduled in Moab during this time. I would certainly like to meet you and the gang. Hopefully, we'll have another chance in the near future.

I live in Denver too... This is an impressive shot. I've been looking for a pano shot to put up in my office and have been debating a pano of LoDo or Garden of the Gods with the Kissing Camels in it. You might have just swayed me...

Thank you Imulderi! :D I am having this image processed as a 12x36 pano. If you're interested in one, just let me know.

Thank you Savone! :D Yes, that is the Twister II rollercoaster at Elitch Gardens. It is one of the largest wooden rollercoaters in the country. It's a blast!

Thanks chrisjlocke! :D Not sure that I would actually take that shot next week with Cinco de Mayo happening and all. It gets a little wild around there then. ;)
