Shots from Saturday at Mission Raceway Park in Mission, BC - the day was declared a practice day due to track issues.
My first time at the track with the 70 - 200 L. Pics are directly from the camera - they haven't been fiddled with... yet.
C & C welcome

Thanks Sat - as usual, nice shots. Hope you get your battery issues worked out.

Re: getting access to the course, I worked as a marshall and corner worker for the last 3 or 4 years and arranged to get access before the races. You need to sign a liability waiver or two before you get a wristband that gives you access. No wristband - no access.
You can contact the club at http://www.wmrc.ca/ and they can advise you. There is a sticky here about safety, and at Mission the marshalls rule the roost and try to keep everyone safe - you cannot stand in a potential impact area (duh!) and must follow instructions from the marshalls re: where to stand and always ask if it safe to cross the track to change locations etc. General rule - when bikes are in pre-grid, you will be staying where you are for the upcoming race.
Well worth the effort though,
Tony.

I love everything with two wheels. But I own a Suzuki and a Yamaha.

All great shots.
#5 would've been 10x better if you stepped the shutter down a couple of clicks just to get the spokes moving :)

It was my first time with this lens at the track & I was experimenting with the lens and speeds - but I did get some blurred spokes (below at 1/160 vs #5 at 1/1600)
