Hi all,

I can traveling to either Atlanta GA or Phoenix AZ on the week of June 2 - 6, 2008. I'll go to either one that would allow me to take a studio lighting, portrait workshop (actually, any sort of photography workshop aside from landscape right now) during the weekend or in the evenings.

I've already searched via Google and other forums but I'm thinking I'll need help locating photographers that are maybe willing to do private workshops if it comes down to it.

I'm hoping people located in these location or have attended some sort of workshop/seminar there would be able to get me some ideas.

Thanks in advance for your help!:)

These are the list of workshops I'm interested in but unfortunately can't do this year because of schedule conflicts:

One light Workshop
TricoastWorkshop
Lighting-essentials

I freely confess I've not taken any of the workshops themselves but I do know the photographer (Alan Lowy) who runs these (he moderates the photo group to which I belong) and I know he's:

1) Very Experienced
2) Produces stunning results himself
3) Comes highly reccomended by folks who HAVE done his workshops

I'll warn you that his home/studio is on the very, very far north side of "Phoenix" but I make the trip up to his place once a month for our meetings becuase it's definately worth it to learn from him.

Thanks for that link.

I have contacted Mark Wallace from snap factory. He's kind enough to consider it and said he'll look at his calendar.
