These aren't good quality - sorry! I was trying to cover my camera with plastic bags and it was really raining hard.

On my way back from MD I was stuck in some nasty flooding at my exit in NC.. I was less than a block from home but couldn't go anywhere due to lakes forming on the road where cars were stuck and the cops blocking it off. I went up into a parking lot where I saw a lake overflowing into the road and watched a cop help someone push their Civic out of the roadside ocean...
Anyone else dealing with some nasty rain or storms?

Top right is the lake flowing into the road, top left is the car being pushed out of the way.

I like the flares you got on these. Nice effect.

Thanks. My poor 40D was pretty soaked even wrapped in plastic bags.. not the smartest thing I've done, but worth the end results.

That stuff is in my area right now. Suffolk got hit pretty hard here. Even had a few tornados.

Scary! That first one looks like a whirlpool.
