First time at Croft this weekend........feedback on the picture is much appreciated.

I think a slightly slower shutter to have shown some motion blur in the tires and it would have been a money maker.

Right now it just looks like they are sitting waiting to race.

I will know for next time......I was shooting all day with the shutter speed too fast:(

As Michael has said above, slower shutter speed is the key.

You've got the angle spot on with the grandstand in the background but 1/320th - 1/400th and a slight pan as the cars pass by will make a lot of difference. Once you've nailed that you can play with slower speeds if you want :)

There's usually a good POTN presence at Croft for any meeting, large or small. New members are always welcome ;)

Nice shot, will not go on about shutter speed as its already been covered.

What I like about this is it coveys just how misserable and bleek Croft can be
