20D/300D Manual Focus

I currently have a 300D, and am having major issues attaining focus manually. I have good eye sight in one of my eyes, which is the one i use. I'm considering upgrading to the 20D and was wondering if it had a way to get the "half-circle" focusing tool?

Unfortunately, no. Unlike its 1 Series cameras, Canon does not offer alternative focusing screens for the 20D. Even if one was available by a 3rd party, it would likely interfere with the center AF sensor.

Is the viewfiner atleat bigger on the 20D as compared to the 300D?

I find manual focus on the 20D to be *much* easier than on the 10D. I tried the 100-400 L + Canon 1.4 TC on the 10D and never got a focused shot. On the 20D I can managed a decently focused shot most of the time.
