What do I need umbrella light ????

Ok I have the chance to do a few shoots with a few girls in bedrooms houses etc want to do stuff like the pic here what is the least amount of gear I need
i have my one d and my flash thats it,

What more do I need and i have a load of crap to buy and holidays at present so cheap and cheerful may have to do . I hate shadows.

If you need something ultra portable (without investing in dedicated powered strobes), think about a pair of Speedlites, a umbrella, bracket and stand.

1 flash is used with the umbrella, I prefer shooting through it
1 flash is used for highlights especially the hair

You can get away with one via the umbrella and process later. For that, a 2 meter sync cord for your flash would do.

Sounds good but just put it to the side and go up or down as required is it.

Thanks man now as I have 2 flashes already i only need a stand a lead and an umbrella.

What flashes do you own?

I like to have the 580ex II on camera bounced if possible facing the subject. I never go for direct with this. 430ex in the umbrella and faced towards the subject and is usually placed towards my subject.

You could think about a softbox instead since it gives you better coverage.

Want a 580 and a new 28- 80 2.8 etc oh man what stress !!!!!!
