My wife had about 350+ slides scanned at our local camera shop, and I just noticed that they came back with no embedded color profile.

These are all from the 70's and 80's, and I imagine some of her family are going to want to get some prints.

Should I assign a color profile, or should I leave them as is? I'm thinking of just uploading all of them to zenfolio and letting the family order their own prints from there.

Betcha $10 they're sRgb. Only issue with loading, assigning profile, and saving is the jpg save loses a tiny bit of quality. I'd upload without a profile as jpgs are assumed to be sRgb unless the profile says otherwise.

Could you simply call the local camera shop that did the scans and ask them the color settings they used?

Thanks. I can definitely call and find out what they used, I was just more concerned about how zenfolio/mpix would handle the files without an embedded profile. I know her family will want to get prints made and I just want to make sure that they will be getting good quality results.
